Julia, I have just come in from the front garden where I have pruned the Lacecap Hydrangea ... just hope there isn't a sharp frost any time soon!
At the moment I really don't feel I would join another gardening forum - I did peek at Gardeners Corner but that's about it!

Love the painting. Keep your own style going, keep on being creative and do your own thing. I do...and just enjoy splish splashing the paint around...I do....

A lovely, gentle painting in such delicate colours.
I am also not sure about the other sites - I get in a bit of a whirl when looking at them. I feel ‘comfy’ on here!

Well I think its lovely Julia and love the shadows on the water. I haven't done any painting since we have lived here which is over 3 years now. I just don't seem to have the time!
I think I may get the hang of GC now but between gardening , looking after my hubby and coming on here, it will be finding the time for that as well! Oh yes..not to mention the housework ! Haha!
It's like Chris said about feeling comfy on here! I know what she means!

It’s lovely, Julia…such a soft, serene painting. Thank you for sharing with us. A wonderful talent!

It’s a lovely painting Julia … you’re too modest 🙂.
I agree with Shirley and Chris - I’ve also looked at other sites but enjoy this one too much to abandon it. Not inclined (or have the energy) to leave my comfort zone!

It's a lovely painting Julia, I love all the greens and the calm reflections in the lake. It looks so serene and just what we need right now.
I'm the same, I wouldn't have time to join another site, I'm hardly on this one! I joined GoY in 2008 so it's been 14 very enjoyable years, even though I dip in and out. I've made some smashing friends and we have great fun.
I remember the stories we would make up about meeting up and then we'd all.join in, what a laugh it was!
At the moment I'm busy with my pets and Teddy isn't well. I'm seeing how he is this next few days, hopefully he'll pick up again in a day or so.
Lovely friends, we'll soon be able to put the clocks forward, then spring is really on its way..:)

Julia, I love the colours in this and wouldn't dream of criticising your artwork as I have no artistic talent whatsoever!
I was going to put a couple of photos on just now, shan't bother until the site stops doing the magic and making them disappear . . . :o(
