It’s very pretty, Julia. Looks a mauveish hue, lovely!

It’s really such a pretty shrub, I’ve seen them but not recently when I’ve been in one of the GCs.

Ah, right, I see. Still, it’s an attractive addition to the garden. Can you grow them in a pot?

That really is very pretty and such lovely foliage too.

I have mine in a large pot, half a whisky barrel. She is in deep shade and grew very quickly, to about 70cm A beautiful shrub.
The parent plant which was in the ground was probably more like 1.50m high, both producing lots of babies!

I nearly bought one yesterday Julia and seeing yours, wish I had now!

Just looked it up, recognize it now, bit of a rampant spreader. Your pic's beauty disguised it's thuggery!

Julia, this looks very healthy!
Kate, I have this in a raised border, shaded by neighbour's enormous Bay tree and only has morning sun. So far, no suckering. It's a lovely shrub.

Lovely aren't they and yes, the suckers can be a problem, but mine's in a pot and has been for several years. I give it a general feed every few months.

Thanks Shirley! That’s good to know. I’ve a couple of spare pots now, so, I think I’ll maybe pick one up this weekend! I’m liking this one, Julia.
Thanks for the tips, ladies.
