What a gorgeous section of the garden, an attractive welcome or goodbye! Love the shapes of each of the shrubs, very effective and colourful too.

Kate beat me to it - was going to say that it makes a lovely welcome to your home. Never knew that trimming a Red Robin could be so successful! Quite an inspiration - what time of year did you do it?

Nice complementary colours there, Meadow. I have taken a leaf out of your book recently and lifted the canopy on a large acer and a cercidiphyllum. It looks so much nicer with more negative space. Took my courage in both hands, but no adverse effects on the shrubs so far!
