Rose they don’t last very long so in a way it is unfair to pick them.

Love the perfume of lilacs. Thee are quite a few bushes around here and I always have to go and have a sniff....

Thank you everyone. The purple lilac in the garden is going over now but a small white lilac is just coming into flower but there isn't enough of that to pick so I will leave well alone!
