To butt in here: I can't keep echinaceas for more than a couple of seasons. I think of them more as annuals, like lupins! I tried from seed as it's cheaper but they took forever to get big enough to plant out and then were chomped off (or died) after a couple of seasons. The one that did last was a green edged pink one that I finherited and foolishly tried to move and it reproved me by instantly keeling over!

At least they're not dead! Mine are just going over so I'm not sure if I shall have any more blooms. Maybe you'll have an amazing isplay next year!
