No matter how many times I do it the determined the yellow flowered weed with bronze leaves always returns .Removed the rose slugworms(larvae of the sawfly) which is a tedious job.Was disappointed to see they had attacked the new DA rose. Lavenders bordering the pool were trimmed back...glorious fragrance...a general sweep around and that's it for today.

Well done. I hardly did any watering today, just a little light dead-heading, then reading and relaxing …

Looking good Meadowland. My lavenders are just about over now so I shall cut the dead heads of over the next couple of days. The aroma is lovely from them.

Looks fab, Julia. I have that little weed here too. It's like a type of shamrock isn't it? A real.pest if it gets into the lawn!

Looks an arduous job well done, Julia!
I'm sorry to hear the sawfly has been attacking your new rose..that's very annoying.
The lavender I can smell from here!!!!
Have to say I've just been relaxing out in the garden with a book enjoying the sunshine...just going to water in the new turf sections...
