p.s. I have just taken some cuttings from my dark purple salvia and put them in the semi-shade in the greenhouse and fingers crossed they haven't wilted yet.!!!

Thanks Lincs. Mine are thriving but I will have to give them shelter when it gets really cold. Cuttings are a good idea ..

I use my empty grape containers sheila, to plant things in. It's a form of recycling too.
