Hi Dd, well I don't think I've heard of this shrub before but I certainly like those tubular bells..:))

No I haven't either and it looks amazing.

Do you keep it out in the border or under shelter, DD? I had 'Marian's Marvel' in a pot but she got too large, unfortunately. I would love another in the border but don't think they would survive the cold on our hill!

Ive a Bomarea, which has similar flowers, but its tender and deciduous.

A lovely addition to the winter garden, Dd. Very attractive flowers.

Thanks all …..the flowers are small….like a small fuchsia…it is fairly tender…. not sure how it’s going to cope with these constant freezing temperatures!

Very nice and also evergreen, hope it servives. I dare not look to closely at some of my "tenders". Loropetalum Fire Dragon leaves are blackened!
