Lovely to see the Blackbirds returning to the gardens. We have three males and two females.

I only have one pair Linda, I'm sure they're the ones that nest every year. You do well with having so many and no fighting?

Oh yes, they have a go at one another now and again.

Saw a Goldcrest today Linda, was out walking by tall conifers, and there it was! As soon as it had come, it was gone, but such a treat to see..:))

Oh Janey they are so sweet. We see one now and again on our walks but they are so small and quick, a blink and they're gone. We get Goldfinches around here, Buzzards, a Raven, Crows, a Wren, Jackdaws, Blackbirds, Sparrows, Hedge Sparrows the Robin but we haven't seen the Mistle thrush yet. Saw Fieldfares yesterday feeding on holly berries. Haven't seen the Blue tits yet either.

Such a range of birdlife you have Linda, that's wonderful!

Perfect for their winter feast Janey , I cut up old apples and put them out, the Blackbirds soon found them x

They do love apples don't they Amy. I do the same, it's always the two blackbirds that are really enjoying them :)) x
