Helleborus "Anna's Red"

Picked this up the other afternoon from the Humber Bridge garden centre.
Thought it would look colourful during the driech winter months...
Apart from a few cyclamen, I've not really any colour at the moment.

We haven't got any colour in the garden at the moment either Kate. That plant looks lovely. Hope it does well for you. I've been out in the rain for ten minutes and have done a bit more cutting down of old growth. I've noticed the snowdrops coming up.

Thank you, Linda! I spotted a few darker ones at this GC, I wanted one that was different to my others. Plus, I could do with some cheer out there! Bet you're looking forward to seeing your snowdrops appear! I've a few bulbs starting to shoot in pots ..think they're crocus. Maybe sometings else! Oh well, the surprise will be nice 😊
It's drizzled here off and on today. I'm at work tomorrow, covering the office on Christmas eve. Then off for a few days over Christmas.

That’s a pretty one Kate. I have it too, and love it … it’s named after the gardening writer Anna Pavord. Great buy!

Crikey, I hope yours makes a comeback once the white stuff starts to melt a bit, Klahanie. I’m pleased to hear you say they are a gorgeous colour/plant! A good purchase then!

Thank you, Sheila, that’s really kind. Thank you also for the info, I’m going to google now. 👍
