One of my snowdrops dotted around...wish I had a big clump!

Unusual snowdrop colour on the large outside petals. Lovely. The snowdrops everywhere are lovely at the moment.

Lovely photos ... this morning we got caught in a long queue of slow moving traffic and I was disgusted at the amount of litter on the verges. I then saw a large clump of Snowdrops growing through which put a smile on my face ... :o)

I caught the Edworthias for sale at a GC yesterday. They smelt very spicy.

Snowdrops do not like our garden and no matter how hard I try to pop them in in various places they never come back!!
Is it the clay soil they don’t like perhaps?

Crikey, thanks everyone for all the feedback! I do wish I’d planted a large clump for a more cohesive effect too, Paul, Chris and Rose.
Julia and Shirley, it sounds like your carpet of snowdrops and your pretty clump definitely put a smile on your faces!
I was detoured on my way to Scotland last Friday, passing through Harrogate, Skipton and chocolate box villages in between. If I had the time, I’d have stopped on a few occasions - snowdrops had created a beautiful carpet on roadsides, woodland edging and the entrance to little towns and villages…picture perfect!
Linda, I’ve a few that have a bluish white tinge almost.
Thanks again Klahanie and Sue!
Janey, we re certainly approaching that time where there’s blossoms, bulb colour and Easter around the corner too..
Thanks Ange, yes, it’s quite a scent when you get close to the Edgworthia.
