Wild Primrose

Yes proper primroses, I've some mum gave me years ago..:)

Janey, that's wonderful. I decided to split them after seeing Carol Klein do that in one of her gardening programmes.

My favourites. There is no colour like them and they are so dainty and delicate.

Klahanie, I bet they look lovely in your woodland.

Chris, I shall always remember seeing them growing wild in the verges and banks along the lanes.

Being native, they come through the winters much better than coloured ones. They tend to rot off in the centre when they get cold & wet.

Haven't they done well this year!

I have some of these in the garden and are one of my favourites too!

I was going to say, ‘real primroses’…very vintage and pretty, Shirley. Hope they do well around the garden for you.
