Pink Hyacinths

Haven't they done well! I do love the pink ones too..

They must thrive on neglect ...:o)

nice - only had a few come up here . some eaten or rotted

Love them and ours always seem to do better outside.

Paul, that's such a shame. Every year I think I must replant them, so that the dark pink and the blues are all together with these. Guess what? Every year I forget to!

Klahanie, would they survive if you potted them up ?

Chris, I can't have them indoors as the perfume is overwhelming for me.

They are still quite a good size for ones left in year after year. Usually they get smaller & smaller until they have to be dumped.

Josie, that's just what I thought. I shall leave them be until they no longer appear ... :o)

Indeed, one bloom was flattened by a Pigeon. I actually saw it crash land on it ... :o(

Those are lovely Shirley. I have deep blue and deep pink ones, planted out from pots last year … quite frustrating that I can’t bend down near enough to smell them!

I have a few of these, but I never planted them and didn't start seeing them until a couple of years ago!

Klahanie, a radio report this morning said that the UK have had the wettest March since 1981 ... it certainly seems that way!

Sheila, I find the perfume very 'heady' so I don't mind not sniffing them!

I saw the bbc news reported the update about I being the wettest March in decades! It certainly was miserable.

Kate, at least three of the blooms are now flattened by birds or weather! Now I could go out and tie them up, or not bother as it's raining again.
