My small crab apple, Butterball is full of blossoms. Haven't the tree blossoms been beautiful this spring!

Janey, that is gorgeous. Yes, the blossom has certainly been striking this Spring on so many trees.

So pretty. We noticed the blossom on our new little fruit trees, too.

Thanks very much for the lovely comments..:))

Shirley I've just passed a pink cherry tree in the village, a whole carpet of pink blossoms underneath, it looked stunning!

Lovely Ange, what type are they?

Thanks Sheila, it should be much larger, but it is happy and the garden birds and the blackbirds like to sit in it..It's their tree..:) x

I could Klahanie, but the blackbirds rely on it in winter and I enjoy seeing the golden fruits..

Thanks for that Wildrose..:)

A beautiful Crab tree, Janey!

I think their are more flowers on the trees this year than we have had in some years!

I was thinking along the same lines this morning when I was taking a photo of several lines of Horse Chestnuts that are defoliated every year by the leaf miners. It's seemed to me that I hadn't seen the trees looking so good in years! 👍

Thank you Balc, she's only small, but lovely with it..:))
I know so many full blossoms this year, plenty of growing rain, maybe that's it. I love horse chestnut blossoms, like candles, in cream or pink. Beautiful! There's always a downside, leaf minors..:( We need to look after our pollinators but pests are a problem. I've so much greenfly, but hardly any ladybirds this year..

That's a beautiful one. Janey! Looks simply perfect there, with the underplanting and that lovely wall as a backdrop.

Thanks Kate, 5 days later, the rain and the wind have rendered it green. I'm not sure if many insects will have pollinated it, but never mind, that's our climate change now!
