Japanese anemone ‘Honorine Jobert’

Japanese anemone ‘Honorine Jobert’

In full bloom now. I had masses of them when we moved in 20 years ago but thinned them out over the years. Deer loves the flowers and leave me the stems and the leaves.
They are called Japanese anemones but they are actually native to China
Nice thing about them is that they bloom for a long time.
I do have the pink ones as well.

I love these Klahanie. Do you have any of the “Swan” series with mauve backs? I must take a pic for you …

The white ones are the loveliest, I think.

It’s a beautiful flower! It reminds of my Clusia rosea flowers.

My tree is blooming right now. My tree has only yellow and white (no pink) in the flowers like your anemone flower.
