Kalanchoe thyrsiflora (variegated form)

This is very pretty but has not grown a centimetre in the two years I've had it :(
Mind you, the green ones don't grow much either ...

That’s a very familiar plant. I have many variegated and the green orange ones growing around my front yard. It’s a very forgiving plant which doesn’t need much water.

Thank you all :)

I've got several of the green ones too, they are very slow growers.

They multiply and grow pretty fast here in full sun.

That's good to know. Things grow slower in pots.

They grow pretty quickly in full sun, but they can burn when the temps get over 100 degrees and when temps get to 110 degrees they fry.

It never gets that hot in Wales :D
It reaches 30 C or a bit higher sometimes, but it's usually somewhere in the mid 20s (70s F) ... that's in the summer.

Wow! That’s pretty comfortable temps. We typically get 5 to 7 days in winter of 90 f (32 c ) or higher and several days of 80 f (27 c). This past winter was the exception. Although, on Christmas Day last year it was 86 degrees (30 c) here.

I wouldn't like that, it's too hot.
We've just had a really cold spell here, with frozen ground and ice everywhere.
It isn't our usual weather though, and it has become much milder now, so we're back to normal winter temperatures, around 10 C (about 50F I think).

We’re used to it being warm to hot here in inland San Diego, most of the year. When daytime temps go below 72 degrees (22 c), we’re freezing.

Haha ! I like it in the 20s, it suits me best, but winter temps are mostly in the low teens here so it isn't too bad.

16 Dec, 2023

It’s been above 27 c here for the last three days. It’s feeling a lot more like Spring than Winter.

18 Dec, 2023

I wouldn't complain at 27 C although I find it a bit boring when it lasts a long time, like it does here sometimes.

18 Dec, 2023

Yes, 80 degrees (or 27 c) is perfect weather!
