Paul, If I can keep it going over winter it should have interesting red-striped leaves. Less hardy than the basjoo, I'm told.

Hope it does well for you Ange. I wonder how long it takes for bananas to grow on it. Your photo reminded me of when we had our other home and our Siamese, Twinkle, loved being in the large greenhouse we had.

I don't think I stand much chance of edible bananas, Linda! Both cats love lounging in the g'house.

It’s a pretty tough banana. It’s a pretty commonly planted banana outside here. People love the red stripes on the leaves.
