We also have hard water here but it doesn't seem to bother this plant or any others for that matter! No even the orchids. But then I don't grow any plants really that need acid soil. Most are happy enough with tap water - without filters.

You’re very lucky. The water here is so hard it corrodes the pipes and everything else.

Your plant looks very healthy Balcony. If I use tap water I let the jug stand for a while so that the water gets to room temperature, but I usually use the water from the dehumidifier in the winter.

I very rarely use water at the temp it comes from the tap. I have a couple of dozen 2lt water bottles that have been filled & emptied 1,000s of times, some are more than 20 years old! These I use to water all my plants. Sometimes, especially during the winter, the water in them is months old! The hot water pipes for the central heating pass through the cupboard so the bottles of water are never cold.

Balcony,
Sounds like a very good system of watering.

That’s a beautiful Anthurium! I love Anthuriums!
I used to have many under my shade structure in my front yard. They only live 5 or 6 years then decline because of the horrible hard water here in San Diego. I have a very good water filter on my hoses now. It’s helped greatly with the plants.
