Seems like it a very attractive palm!

It’s a very attractive tree. But, it’s not a real Palm tree. It’s related to giant bird of paradise, Heliconia and bananas.

It might survive here or not. I'm pretty sure it won't look very good though but for the last warmest months of the summer.
I would trial it if I had a spot. Right now,it's more what can I remove?

Stan,

When small they’re tender, after they’re more than 3 ft tall they’re tough as nails. I had one in Fremont, it grew pretty well. I see many growing here. It’s pretty slow growing. I hear even in Florida it grows slowly.
