Thrilled to see so many cream bracts this Spring (shot from kitchen window). They seem to increase year by year :)

That'll be beautiful Sheila!
Yes I can see your Jordan, how unusual
Is the right hand side taking the brunt of any cold winds do you think? It's a very nice shape though. I've had to move mine out of the biting wind we're having right now.

Thanks Janey, yes maybe it’s the cold winds affecting the Jordan … I’m hoping it will improve in time.

It’s lovely Sheila, and your garden has really come on. It looks truly like yours now!

A beautiful tree Sheila. I bet you are pleased with it.

Thanks Josee, I am very pleased with it. Our designer (6 years ago) suggested a “see-through tree” in the bed in front of the kitchen window, but he couldn’t think of one at the time. I’d brought this with us from our old garden, and it seems to fit his idea perfectly 🙂.

Very attractive shot, Sheila! Lovely Cornus too, liking the form.
I can spot your Acer, Jordan is such a beautiful Acer isn't it!!

Thanks Kate, I can’t quite get over the dozens of bracts on the Cornus … it’s never been so prolific before 🙂.

Lovely little tree, Sheila! Perhaps it due to the - nearly - frost free winter?

Thanks David. Yes, could be, plus all that warm Spring rain?

Just realised that our Acer 'Jordan' can be seen just beyond the corner of the lawn, back left. If you're able to enlarge the photo you'll see that half is in good leaf, the other half not!
