Cosmos germinated - in 4 days!

Wow Sheila, that was quick!

Lovely that they've all grown for you Sheila. Ours emerged after a week and I've potted four to a pot. They are now down the garden in the greenhouse and growing their second lot of leaves. A lovely plant for the bees and if you deadhead them will flower all summer long.

Thanks Linda, you’re right … they’re great plants. These are half white and half pink.

There is a free packet with this month’s GWR magazine, and some parsley. I’m going to use both! The Cherry toms I got with same publication a couple of months ago are doing well.

Gosh they have come through quickly Sheila.
The last couple of years I grew them, there seemed to be an awful lot of strong fern-like leaf and weak flowers.
so I haven't grown them since.
I do hope yours come on as they should..:) x

Lovely to see they have germinated so quickly for you, Sheila! I've grown them a number of times on the balcony as well as on the allotment I used to have.

Our town council gardeners planted them 'en masse' in one place last year which I was lucky enough to see. They are so impressive when you have 100s altogether in just one flowerbed!
