Glad you both like it! 👍 Up until this year this was always the first rose to flower as it usually flowers in April, but not this year! Before the first flowers opened I'd already seen a climber across the road from us with an open flower or two! Would you believe it - in the first week of April!!! A week later I saw another yellow climber in a different place that had lots of flowers open!!!

To think as a teenager at home my greatest ambition was to get a rose to flower in the first week of JUNE! I always wanted to get a flower open before the RHS Chelsea Show came to an end but now you'd need to put the plants in a fridge & turn the temp way down to STOP them from flowering in May, let alone April!!! 🤣
