I've painted a couple of pictures of Kingfishers Meadowland and Kate and one went to help the Cromford canal trust. I'm going to get some more pictures and have another go at painting the Kingfisher. It's really lovely to see them around at the riverside. They are beautiful little birds.

We see quite a few different birds down by the river Derwent and if we go early we see all the geese flying in and landing on the water. Sometimes we see the Cormorant or Egrett and sometimes the Heron. There Moorhens, and Ducks and vary rarely, the Manderin ducks. Always something different happening.

Well done Meadowland. The colours aren't easy to mix to get the right hue ....

We see the Kingfishers now and again when we walk by the river. We saw the Cormorant yesterday and the Heron a couple of days ago. There's always something new to see with different birds flying in.
