Thank you everyone for your lovely comments. This barge takes people down the Cromford canal except I don't think that the horse pulls it along anymore. I've given the painting to their small shop to help them.

Lovely painting Lindak. We had a horse drawn barge on the River Wey until 2years ago, then cyclists complained that it was slow & held them up! Can you believe it. I believe they moved to Totnes, Devon.

Thankyou for your lovely comment Feverfew. The barge and horse ought to take precedence over cyclists, and the cyclists should take care while walkers go along the footpath.
