Penstemon blooming today.

Wonderful. I've noticed that my Ceanothus started to bloom.Never before in this time of the year.

That is a lovely one, love the colour Shirley.
Klahanie, my ceanothus has done the same, a flower of blue here and there..

A lovely colour, Shirley! I had one some years ago that a friend gave me but it didn't last more than a year on the balcony! :( Can you grow them from seed?

David, I think they can be tricky to grow from seed, cuttings seem to 'strike' for me so I'll take some in the Spring. With luck, I may be able to send you one ... :o)
