A day out at Corfe and Swanage

A couple of days before we let him go back to Canada, Cal and I had a day out at the coast in the sunshine. I really wasn’t well, but I managed, and it did me good to get outdoors. The sun was warm and we really enjoyed our day. Sadly he went back home with this dreadful virus. I’m hoping he gets over it quicker than me! We’ll see him again in July in Canada. While he was here it was like he had never left. NOw he’s gone it’s like he was never here! Heartache….

Always loved Corfe. As a teenager, we lived in Lilliput, on the other side of Poole harbour. Hope you’re getting better Karen.

Thanks all. I am gradually getting better, but it has really knocked me for 6 this one. Especially coming just as I was recovering from the last bug. Just have to rest, keep warm and be patient. I am sleeping and eating well enough. Just can’t get rid of the cough. Poor Rachel has been like this since October. She’s so unwell she’s even managed to secure a GP appointment!

Hope you feel better soon Karen. We've had a bad cough BUG!!!!! Just about over now but there are lots of colds going round I think I shall start wearing my mask again.

That is a smashing photo Karen. Lots to look forward too as well, visiting Canada in the summer! Hope you feel much better soon, I know a few people suffering with it 😞
