Hellebores

These are very beautiful Shirley . I like Hellebores in early spring for that reason. They are tough.

Oh, how lovely. I really need Hellebores in my life! They are essential to my well being! ;)

Thanks Klahanie, I have seven clumps of them around the garden now. Even though some are hard to see as their heads hang down, I still love them!

I agree Ff, it's the prettiest Hellebore I've seen.

It is indeed a lovely flower! I'd grow them but they wouldn't like our balcony with the sun on it all day from 11am till it goes down! In summer it can get very hot!
