I've really enjoyed seeing all the trees around here that are in full flower. They all seem to have done exceedingly well this year.

I agree Linda. And even the Magnolias have not been ruined by frosts this year.

All flowering trees do seem to have done better this year! I nearly missed out this year on taking photos of the Magnolias when they were in bloom! I think that was because I took a different route to town for a couple of weeks this year & so missed the trees I would normally photograph!

There is a fantastic old Magnolia tree that grows in a garden only a few doors up from where a girlfriend I had nearly 60 years ago used to live. I've taken photos of the tree every year for the last 20 at least & I very nearly missed it! I did get a couple of photos but lots of the flowers had fallen off & the leaves had started to grow.

Yes David, maybe the very wet early Spring weather made a difference. We’re benefiting from the lovely blossom anyway!
