Lovely deep colour just whats needed for dismal days. I've yet to try the whole seed thing i'm building up to it though don't think i'll manage the same fantastic results you must be really proud of your self

I try to stay away from red blooms because some of the bushes and plants that do well here already have red, yellow or purple but this beautiful color may just make me change my mind. This is the color I would like to have on some accent walls in my house. Pretty! Pretty! Just look how that yellow center POPS!

honestly scousemonk these are so easy to grow from seed

i am fairly new to gardening, having worked away from home for nearly 11yrs. and i am just getting the bug now. will try some cultivating though.
a friend has given me some iris seeds so wish me luck, i am learning so much from the good people goy.

Wow, Irish. What a colour!! beautiful centre too... the little stars at the margin ...just gorgeous! I love cosmos as well and especially the white ones... I saved seed hoping to have a whole bed of white ones...but they came up the standard pink!... Again...I had only one white plant this year. I'm still collecting seed..maybe I'll be luckier next season.

Oooo I love that red!! Cosmos are super easy to grow from seed - I grow them every year. Never had red like this tho... What was the name on the seed packet?

the name on the packet Charlieb is candy stripe, guess this one was in there just by pure accident

Ooh, I'm soo jealous. What an amazing colour! The only thing that is similar in my patch at the mo is Dahlia Bishop of ? (not Llandaff - its a darker red but I can't remember if its B of York) . Will try to post a pic.

Wow... stunning color and a great close-up, hope your planning on tieing a string around this one, so you'll remember which one it is. Then you can save the seeds and have tons of them next year, instead of one !
