Autumn inside the greenhouses at Winsford

Coffee can wait! This is showing off really, but I am guilty of taking some things for granted here in my garden as I work amongst many delightful views. This morning I was tramping past my greenhouses with armfuls of spiteful roses destined for the bonfire when I espied this glorious view. Taken this morning on my way to a cup of coffee around 11am on this 15th of October, I couldn't help myself returning with the camera.

Leaves me speechless. Would love to see it for myself.

I should first qualify my 'spiteful roses' - as I was pruning masses of the scrambling variety and they tend to fight back!
Starting from left moving clockwise, the plants include tibouchinas, hedychium (ginger), cannas, bougainvilleas, philodendron and cassia. Except for the bougainvillea these are 'spares' just in case those in the garden succumb to our cold, wet UK winter.

It's pouring outside and the forecast is that it will be little different for the whole week here. But the good new is that all these plants are still looking fabulous (now they're under their fleece). Now that's what I call good-value colour. Don't you?
