Wet Flax...love the blue...

Very nice blue. It's strange how you can get a good year for certain plants and the next year they are not so good. I have the same experience.

That's right Chris.
In my garden, I find that plants 'take a break' .
Maybe, like us, they need a rest now and then! :o)

Thanks Janette, Chris and TT...yes the ebb and flow teaches us patience...I had a bed of flax four years ago that looked like a piece of blue sky come down to earth.... it rippled in the breeze and the lovely little blue petals drifted around things..it went to seed generously and I had sheafs of it to make wreaths and to add to dried arrangements...with a little spray glitter or paint they are quite pretty and festive. But this year they were late and I'm not sure I'll be lucky enough to get seed...oh well.
