Sorry Lincslass...very old cottage with ancient beams...spiders galore..feel an early spring clean on the way.
Thanks for checking Amy..only one thing worse than finding a maggot in your apple..thats finding half of one ! lol
21 Feb, 2009
OMG....that would make me go all funny and squeamish if he fell off my beam! Have had a small one do that but nothing this big!!
21 Feb, 2009
Lol..Pg..he didnt exactly fall off...just dropped down in a succession of moves...then scuttled back up !

Me too Toto : )

You have the same problem that we have - old cottages and beams = spiders! Henry eats them if the scuttle across the floor, but unfortunately, they stay up there (points) and spin webs all the time. I don't worry too much about clearing them away - they are back by the next day...

great photo BB. have couple of great spiders here, you can hear them going across the floor lol.
i like having them here, rather spiders than some other insects running around the place

Spritz...ditto..you should see the one in our bedroom...his web has almost completely covered our ceiling Lol
he is big Eileen, but never heard him walking...must be expensive finding him four pairs of boots Lol
21 Feb, 2009

thanks god theres no centipedes living here
21 Feb, 2009
OMG..the mind boggles LOL

He's a lovely looking spider BB. I don't mind spiders at all but the girls "freak out" whenever they see one. Mind you, I wouldn't like it to have been a black widow that suddenly dangled down in front of my nose...that's happened to me before. LOL
22 Feb, 2009
Ehhhhhhhhhhh what long legs hes got...lol
22 Feb, 2009
He was only after the fly in your soup ;-)
22 Feb, 2009
Ahhhh Hollyeves he has !
Ams LOL
22 Feb, 2009

23 Feb, 2009
What do you feed him, lol.
26 Feb, 2009
Nothing Dawn but strangely..there are no flies in our home...wonder where theyve gone ! Lol
26 Feb, 2009
One of life's mysteries!
26 Feb, 2009
come into my lair said the spider to the fly. Oh no not I said the fly to the spider, for I know what fate awaits me there in your dark dank lair. Tref
