White Amaryllis

That is the look of pureness. What a beautiful picture.
I'm waiting for a white one to open over here too, spritz! It won't last long, i guess it wil open in a few
days.

Me too both...mine has been a long time growing but is nearly there! The first time I've had a white one.............

A beautiful pure white , this is the first year that I wont have one , the frost nipped it in the greenhouse before I took precautions against it :o(

Hey Janey, that is then two of us. I'll try to post pics of the blooming in the process, haaha... This is the first year i have a white one too :-)
I'm really sorry to hear about your Amaryllis bulbs, Amy. Are you sure they are all gone? I've read some articles when a few amaryllis were left (forgotten) in the garden. They spent the winter there, and somehow they survived and bloomed the next summer. Of course, the situation is different in the ground as in a little container. The more little the container is, the more likely the plant's roots will freeze.
