I've got one without the other :-( I would really like a white one......very elegant and understated.

Lost both of these plants, yet kept them going in the cold Midlands although a cold spring usually did for the flowers, it did not kill them, looked at some in the GC last week over £4.00 now. Will have to lust after yours for now!!

They do shine out, don't they!

I showed my grandson the red ones and he thought they were wonderful - well, he would with that common name, wouldn't he! He's 7 - nearly 8!

We used to call them lady in the bath, with the red one you press with your fingers the bulbous part so the flower opens to reveal a lady in the bath?

Dottydaisy - yes, we do that as well - entertains the kids to see the 'lady in the bath' ;-)

I just bought a root of this beautiful plant, doe's it need any special care or do I just let it do it's own thing. Tref.

No, I think if you plant it in dappled shade in moist-ish soil with some leafmould if you've got any, it should be OK. I shall mulch mine in the winter to be on the safe side, though!
