That is a stunning colour and I like its eyelashes!

Thanks - it is a real picture! My friend dug up two clumps of hers for me when I was creating my purple, gold and white borders back in autumn 2007.

I dont believe it...mine are nowhere near flowering, super colour.

stunning colour! i found an iris in this garden growing under a tree, i dug up the clump and moved it into a better location, and it has'nt flowered since we moved here, but it is completely covered in buds this year, so really looking forward to seeing what colour it is - hope it's like yours!

You must have continental weather down there in Somerset, everything in your garden is so advanced

This is in the most sheltered border, facing south. :-)
