Yeh, Bjs, It did not bloom last year, just grew a lot of beautiful leaves but this year it gave my 4 blooms...it was only then I remembered that it was a triple.

This is fantastic.I have never seen a triple flowered one before,and has lovely colouring and markings...

To tell you the truth, it took so long to give me a bloom, I had forgotten it was a triple...actually I don't think I even knew it was a triple...I ordered it because I liked the picture...lame reason, huh?

You have some wonderful pictures .....and some stunning closeups.....how do you do it?

I am very limited with subject matter because my garden is in progress....some are growing in pots...some in the ground..I have a new camera and practice with it LOTS because I have no photography training...the camera does all the work but it has taken a lot of practice and I have two sons who are photographers who have helped me understand bits and pieces...I have always had a passion for it but don't understand f stops and such....

I've never seen such a wonderful amarylis .... !
