Love this bird Skippy and I like the way the crest sits on the top of it's head.Very vibrant colour...

They really are beautiful and their song is quite consistent and for some people becomes tiresome but I love hearing him in the morning when I go outdoors.

Wasn't in my garden but across the culvert and the next street over...my sister's house actually...I am working to entice those guys closer to my house with my vegetation but I guess that will be awhile yet for everything to grow adequately.

It is hard to imagine that you have this very exotic bird in your garden.

The cats like the idea of having one close, too, but they also know they cannot leave my premises unless they wish to stay indoors for several days as behaviour modification....they hate being shut up indoors during the day....cats are much smarter than people think and can be trained...

Skippy I should have sent my cats over to you.......they never did a thing they were told.

I already have my hands full with my three...the one thing I can't seem to remedy is their fights amongst themselves....
