That's a good reason for trying to keep Henry's paws away from them! They are the tiniest plants I have in the garden.

i know what you mean,, we adore our pets but they dont understand " mind the plants" not in the flowers please,, lol

He WILL take a short cut across my scree bed! I've tried little fences but he just jumps over them.

I love gentians but have never grown them successfully. The colour is beautiful.

I tried a different species with larger flowers in my alpine trough - every time a flower opens, the birds rip it to pieces. :-(
