I found another one so I planted it next to its friend! They are surrounded by pebbles to keep them safe.

That's a good reason for trying to keep Henry's paws away from them! They are the tiniest plants I have in the garden.

I love gentians but have never grown them successfully. The colour is beautiful.

I tried a different species with larger flowers in my alpine trough - every time a flower opens, the birds rip it to pieces. :-(
