Getting ready for two weekends of open days, starting tomorrow.

Took the day off work today because a photographer came up from Suffolk to spend a few hours here with a view to publishing the photos. Last Saturday morning we had another photographer from 6.30 am for over three hours - missed my lie-in!

Fourseasons..

Thanks everyone. It was good to meet Carwasher.

It was quite sunny at times this afternoon with just a few drops of rain. It got quite cold and breezy at the end but everyone seemed delighted with their visit - we had 151 people in 3 hours.

One lovely comment in the visitors' book was "The most interesting and beautiful garden I've ever been in - and I'm eighty-two!" It makes all the hard work worthwhile!

It's 8pm and we've just eaten and can now relax before tomorrow's earlier start of 10am.
