I don't know it's full name Bornagain......it was here when we came, but a littl prunung has worked well.....:o)
Aw..thanks Jerrie!

It does not look like the usual tamarix, it looks more exotic.
I bought two of the basic ones this year, they arrived as sticks and guess what they are still sticks, husband keeps taking the micky about me growing sticks instead of plants......ye of little faith lol

Oh, no....Dd! Ha..ha.....how annoying though. I'll have to have a look on the internet to see the different types...it must be a weeping sort.
27 May, 2009
WOW that is stunning.
27 May, 2009
I've had a look on Google, Bornagain and Dd......and it resembles Tamarix Tetandra more than any other.......Lol!
27 May, 2009
Right, mine is Petandra, yours has the merit of a cup, mine at the moment has the merit of a dirty beer glass lol

Ha..ha..Dd......wonder if I could take a cutting and get one going for you, I must admit it is exceptional this year. Last couple of years it has been out of shape and still there is a long branch hanging over the fence which I'll have to lop off when the flowers are finished...............I'll try to get something going from that....:o)
Thanks Clarice!

It resembles Cordyline without the flowers.
It looks great.
28 May, 2009
That's a Cordyline behind it Crisscross.......they're close together....:o)
28 May, 2009
Oh how stupid of me ......I thought it was growing on that trunk, now I can see it is a cordyline......
Guess what an excited husband found little green shoots coming out of THE STICK!!!!!
Man thanks for the offer will take you up on that please, if not a donation towards some stronger glasses.lol

He...he...Dd.....Looking at it again it could have been one tree....Crisscross thought so too! Good news about yours though....:o)
