Lovely! Welcome to GoY! I grow columbine here and it's leaves get that powdery mildew... Does anybody know how to remedy this? Thanks :)

Hi all, thanks. No powdery mildew but it's gone over now - lovely while it lasted though.

Tastey......try spraying with baking soda, oil and water. The proportions are one tablespoon of baking soda to a gallon of water plus a little vegetable oil to act as a surfactant. Works for me.

I haven't tried this plant....I must see if I can find a space for it though. Just lovely.

Thanks Davebat59 - It came from either Scotland's Garden Show or a garden centre, can't remember now but it doesn't grow as tall as other aquilegias so it's a nice filler.

Thanks for the warm welcome Robertr. It's just a small one, around 9 - 12 inches. I think it might be Winky (going by Google images!).

Thanks Motinot, I'm not sure about this one but the other aquilegias I have are seeding all over. I like them too because they're light and airy.
