7 Jun, 2009
OMG ..so how much a driving lesson with you Eileen ? No wonder Meg deals only in Fiftys lol Perhaps you could combine the two ..at the next junction I want you to do an emergency stop as we have a couple of fares to pick up.
7 Jun, 2009
lol i was that one lonely driver who knew what indicators were for BB, thats why i gave it up, i was giving the other drivers a bad name
7 Jun, 2009
Many years since I been Eileen too long as such a lovely country ..once drove from Rosslare across Ireland to Sligo in the dark met one or two vehicles not using headlights !
Will never forget the stunned look I got when told someone wasnt drinking because I was driving. Sure things have changed now.
7 Jun, 2009
slowly BB, slowly things are changing. when penelty points were brought in there was an uproar lol.
few more changes coming in July regarding driving tests so hopefully driving will get better
7 Jun, 2009
Oh I bet Eileen some drivers would have collected enough by the time they got to the end of the street !
Sounds humorous but as an Instructor you will see the serious side to all this - no wonder you ve been kept busy lately.

13 Jun, 2009
lol aye and when you phone its always,,,,,,,,,,,,,, im just pulling into your road now , lol i know cos i used to say that too
13 Jun, 2009
In Houston the computer calls your cell and tells you " your taxi will be there in 4 minutes" but it's 15 before it shows up!! =0
14 Jun, 2009
lol they must be the same in every country so
14 Jun, 2009
I think that's a great idea to harness Henry up - I am so tired he could pull me when we go for our walks this week! Maybe I could wear roller-skates?
14 Jun, 2009
i was just reading your blog regarding your open day,,,,,,,,, maybe you could employ David to throw the ball for Henry all day long lol
14 Jun, 2009
little Meg belongs in Hollywood.
17 Jun, 2009
aw she would love you Nf , she already acts like a diva lol
17 Jun, 2009
I could have done with David today, Eileen, Henry just wouldn't leave me alone - dropping his ball right in front of me and then losing it - I think it went in the stream! I thought that would be it - no more hassling - but no, he went in and found his hollow treat-ball which he dropped in front of me! It doesn't come outside. At least he tried!
17 Jun, 2009
lol sounds like Henry believes ( quiet rightly too ) that he should be the centre of your attention , not those plant things you fuss over lol
17 Jun, 2009
He simply will NOT give up, even when he's hot and panting! I suppose retrieving is in his genes, isn't it - he is a Labrador Retriever, after all.
17 Jun, 2009
true Barbara , he is just living up to his breed.
if i throw Tay a ball , she just looks at me as if to say,,,,,,,,, well you were the one who threw it so go get it yourself lol
17 Jun, 2009
His mother does exactly the same , plonks the ball right at your feet, and his grandmother loves stones, just like Henry!
We saw all this when we went to 'choose' him from the litter. I could have brought them all home...so cute! :-)
17 Jun, 2009
its so hard to choose just one isnt it when you see a litter of puppies. what made you pick Henry
17 Jun, 2009
My daughter said I should go into the pen with all the puppies and call 'Henry!! and see which one responded - so I did! And the lady snipped a little piece of fur off his back leg so he was 'booked' for me. :-)
17 Jun, 2009
lol really. novel way of choosing
17 Jun, 2009
They were all lovely - when we went to pick him up, there were 6 little heads poking over the top of the barrier to stop them getting out of the pen! I wish I'd had a digital camera then. It waa a real 'Aaaah!' moment!
17 Jun, 2009
it sounds like it was a aaah moment alright.
17 Jun, 2009
Was Meg a rescue dog or have you had her since she was a puppy?
17 Jun, 2009
both Meg and Tay are rescue dogs.
Meg was about a yr old when we got her, we chose her as the day we went to the pound to pick out a dog Meg was due to be put down, couldnt have that now .
17 Jun, 2009
No, definitely not! Well done...I know that people like you save an awful lot of lovely pets from a fate I'd rather not think about. :-(
We did think about a rescue Lab, but we were put off by being told that they can be abandoned because of their nature, especially if they were ill-treated.
There was me thinking that all Labs were good-natured! I suppose it's down to upbringing, isn't it - that sounds a bit silly saying it like that but you know what I mean! lol.
18 Jun, 2009
aye , i do know what you mean Barbara, very few bad dogs just mostly bad owners
18 Jun, 2009
Got it! :-)
