I'd been looking at Wagger's new avatar with Misty his Torty pusscat and mentioned Nina who adopted us when we lived away, and brought two starving white kittens too........here she is guarding the front gate....:o)

She was a Spanish feral cat Pp...and when we came back here we rehomed her with neighbours who loved her and she's still there in the same location. the2 tiny little kittens didn't fare so well, at first she would only come to the terrace wall for biscuits, but after a couple of weeks ventured to the house door with them then with only one, Pepi who we had for a few years...he was a huge white tomcat but someone shot him with an air rifle and after lots of treatment he disappeared. We keep in touch with the neighbours and Nina is now topcat over their rescue Westie......:o)

How sad about her kittens, how can anyone be so cruel shooting a defenceless animal! glad Nina found a happy home. always like a happy ending!

Gorgeous photo Janey - by the way it's her Tortie - no offence taken. Perhaps I need a name change as well as avatar, lol.
