Thanks Taoncale - I first saw these growing out in the central desert country here in Oz many years ago and this is the first time I've grown them myself. They're proving to be a long flowering stunning little addition to my garden.

Dosen't look like a weed . Its gorgeous. Would it grow over here? You say it's little. How tall are they?

Roseberry - I dare say you could get something very similar over there. This particular variety grows to around 30 cms high and over here it flowers continuously for months. Over there it would be regarded as an annual - you'd be looking for the celosia spicata or the spike varieties.
