I planted most of my potatoes today, so I just thought I'd browse piccies of my veggies from last year. I seem to remember everything being a bit of a disaster due to the wet weather, but it doesn't look so bad from the photos! The gloomy area in the background has now been completely cleared and that is where this year's veggy patch is. Unfortunately, it is still full of roots and the remains of the Leylandii hedge, which refuse to rot down. So, I'm not sure how well things will do this year.....watch this space!

Yeah - I think the peas/caulies/carrots/lettuces did quite well because of lots of rain - the onions/tomatoes/courgettes really suffered tho
:-( The tomatoes will be going in the greenhouse this year!

Lovely patch you have there Sid and quite tidy too it must take plenty of your time to get it looking so good and if the veg tastes as good as they look in the ground then you're really onto a winner! Hel.xxx.

Great stuff Syd, we are on the same wave length, you just can't beat that home grown flavour I think we could be into productive competition !!!
