He's feet and beak are colour co-ordinated. Lovely bird.

I always wanted to take up falconry, except it was expensive. I did look after a pair of barn owls for ten weeks then release them on our land and they were around for years.

you are so lucky to have had a pair of owls Linda

We had a chap in the village who was a falconer and kept all the different sort of birds of prey. These were two of his babies.
