hi Doreen, according to Janette who kindly sent it to me its Platycodon Grandiflorus

These are awesome. I have one that the blooms stay closedand it called 'Komachi' , it keeps that hot air balloon shape. It makes for a great plant in a child's garden, something to pull them in and get them interested in gardening.

Yes they are hardy mines been in a pot all winter by the house with no protection and come through

Eileen I was already way to posh for ye all - remember I am from Glasgow !! - With all my hob nobbing I missed all my dahlias coming into bloom - must get my people to update my photos :-)
