new Astilbe

new Astilbe (Astilbe x arendsii 'Rheinland')

Been adding lots of Astilbes this year because they don't mind boggy soil.

These plants cannot get enough of the rain, ours fast out-growing their allotted spaces, so useful as the flowering times vary with the different varieties, lovely red/pink? K....

Yes, I would say it's pink A. Thank you. Scottish, I had a look on line as well, but decided to just get what was available in the nursery and this one was from B&Q 2 for £7.

Well - there's only one way to find out! I shall go for it in the autumn.

Have divided Astilbe many times. Had a border running the length of a shed one year, all pink. When it outgrew its space , I divided, and divided. It is very easy, I would wait until a dry spell is possible to do it. They are very carefree. I never did one thing to this border and came back year after year.
