Clematis cirrhosa 'Lansdowne Gem' - 2015

Winter-flowering clematis for a south or west facing aspect, sheltered from cold winds. Websites disagree on how large it gets, anything from six to twenty feet being quoted! As the flowers hang down, it needs to get to a decent height to be able to see the red interiors.

this is very pretty. I have balearica but I do like the warm pinky/red of this.

My winter ones are still babies, one day I hope to look up & see them as lovely as yours.

That is nice, two colours for the price of one. I have wound my 'Freckles' around the top struts of a pergola, but side shoots have escaped up an Elaeagnus to the heavens.
