White Lavandula stoechas

I adore this variety....you are very lucky they survived..as it's not winter hardy....we had to replace most of our lavenders.

Not many did survive, Waheeda...it's such a shame! This one is a little more sheltered.

Have just put a photo on today, we lost a lot of ours too.......

I had 'Tiara' for three years (or four?) and it was a 'very' large plant. It died in the winter, so I have replaced it. It's a shame that so many died, but I did realise that they're not as hardy as the English lavenders.

It is hard to resist them is it not?

To be honest, I can't. They're a 'must have' in my garden. :-))

We used to buy a lot from Norfolk Lavender usually plugs, at one time we had over 20 varieties in the garden......

I've tried taking cuttings, but no success so far. It's strange which ones survive and which don't, isn't it!

OH does all that I am not much good at that sort of thing, I do the design and some of the hard landscaping, shall be at it again tomorrow, will be so pleased when this last part is finished.....

I mistakenly thought it would make me lose some weight, instead it makes me eat more....lol

I find the opposite after all this hard work the last few weeks - I don't want to eat, but I'm STILL not losing the excess pounds. :-(((((

It must be our... then? moving South did it for me gained two stone!!
